WALL-STARS

NOW AUDITIONING FOR WALL-STARS
(Ages 10-17 | 44-55+ hrs of instruction & filming per month)

WHO ARE THE WALL-STARS?

Similar to the Mickey Mouse Club & PBS’s Zoom, this is an audition-only elite group of fun, talented youth who will have a weekly show starting this FAll on YouTube (Roku & Prime Video by 2nd semester). This team will make appearances,  and put on various shows and productions throughout the year. We will perform sketch comedy, experiments, parodies, skits and games. This team consists of singers, actors, dancers, musicians, improvisers and more! The COVID-19 pandemic has changed a lot of how we entertain our audiences, but we are dedicated to finding safe, innovative solutions to continue to provide creative, quality entertainment for our audiences. 

This team will also have preference when casting for commercials, films and other oportunities that may arise as well.

HOW TO AUDITION

  1. Please submit a full body photo of your child without sunglasses or a mask. (Does not have to be professional)

  2. Record & send a 3 min (or less) video of your child. They should clearly state their name, age, hobby, why they would like to be a part of Wall-Stars and then tell us a story. Be creative and show us your personality!

  3. Fill out and attach the registration form to the email. (houstontheatrenow@gmail.com)

  4. You will get a confirmation within 24hrs that we received your submission. Please notify us if you have not received a confirmation.

  5. Those going to the next round will get callbacks. Those not advancing to the next round will have the opportunity to join one of our other classes to continue building your skills & experience.

15 children in total will be chosen for this group. The purple team will consist of 8 students who will be the main cast and the White team will consist of  7-10 students who will participate in larger performances and fill in as alternates and extras during the season. There will be opportunities for advancement!
